Advanced Placement (AP)

The Advanced Placement (AP) program provides high school students with university-level courses and exams, administered by the College Board and delivered at the TIOS Testing Centre. These courses and exams can lead to college credit or advanced standing in post-secondary institutions. Students develop critical thinking, research, and time management skills while exploring subjects in depth. Successful AP Exam scores (often 3 or higher on a 1–5 scale) allow students to potentially earn credit, save on university tuition, and gain a competitive edge in college admissions. At TIOS, AP courses are currently offered in English, Physics and Calculus.

TIOS Support and Preparation:
TIOS offers a comprehensive AP program that includes both full-year courses and intensive exam preparation sessions. Our AP instructors are certified professionals who emphasize conceptual understanding, analytical writing, and exam-specific strategies. Students receive extensive practice through College Board question banks, past paper analysis, and performance-based assessments. We also provide individualized academic advising to help students select AP subjects aligned with their intended university majors and admissions goals.
